Swerve Group is a music, technology and gaming company, built in Nigeria and built for Africa. We build the label, the rails and the community: art and culture on one side, digital value and play on the other.
01 / Who we are
Swerve Group is a young holding company founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 2026 by Oladimeji Babalola. Today it runs two businesses and is building a third: music, payments and gaming, all under one roof.
On one side, Swerve Music: an independent artist label rooted in Afrobeats, built with independent artists and open to the world. On the other, CardToNaira: a digital exchange and payment platform that turns value into Naira for everyday Nigerians.
And in build, Gamer's Verse: a community where gamers meet, chat and share insights.
Different businesses, one conviction: Africa doesn't need to wait to be discovered. It needs builders, and infrastructure that lets its own sound and its own money move freely.
02 / The founder
Swerve Group was founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 2026 by Oladimeji Babalola, a developer and artist building at the intersection of African music and technology.
The idea is simple: Africa's creative economy and its digital economy shouldn't live in separate worlds. One gives the continent its voice; the other gives it reach. Swerve Group builds in both, with the patience of a label and the pace of a startup.
What started as one man's conviction is becoming a group: a home for artists, a rail for trade, and a platform for whatever Africa builds next.
